Thank you for your choice of Al Ibdaa Private School. We hope we will be found worthy of your trust as an educational institution.

This prospectus in your hand speaks of a challenging project that came to pass. Despite many difficulties and trials it saw the light of day as a result of great determination and careful planning. The development of this school was an experience rarely seen, but was witnessed by many.

It was my endeavor to found a model for an Omani school with an academic program that satisfied the demands of an international syllabus. This opportunity came along in October 2000, and I seized it with both hands. The school building was successfully constructed on 1 February 2001.

The journey began when, by God’s will, our first academic year commenced on 3 September 2001. I wish to express thanks to all who participated in the establishing of this outstanding institute, whether they were involved in a personal or official capacity. Let me not forget the role parents have played in showing trust and support by being patient and understanding as the school faced and overcame difficulties. Special thanks and appreciation go to the Ministry of Private Education and the Youth and Development Fund.

I ask God to be with us on this academic journey as we continue under the wise leadership of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, long may he live.
